Agastya Nanda Shares Sad Tribute To Late Dharmendra
On November 24, just two weeks before turning 90, Bollywood legend Dharmendra passed away at his Mumbai home due to age-related illnesses. His death left fans and family heartbroken.
Before his passing, Dharmendra completed his final film, Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan and co-produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda. The film also stars Agastya Nanda (Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson) and Simar Bhatia (Akshay Kumar’s niece) and is set to release on December 25.
At the launch of the film’s first song “Sitaare”, sung by Arijit Singh, Agastya shared his emotions about working with Dharmendra. He said, “It’s very emotional for me. Dharam ji worked with all generations of my family. I had the honor to share screen space with him. I am extremely sad that he couldn’t see the love he deserves. It is emotional for all of us.”
