Prabhas’ ‘The RajaSaab’ Set To Release On 9 Jan 2026

The RajaSaab is an upcoming Telugu romantic horror-comedy film directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The movie stars Prabhas, along with Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. Malavika Mohanan is making her Telugu film debut.

The story is about a young man who wants to claim his ancestral property to solve his financial problems. Prabhas reportedly plays dual roles — a theatre owner and a ghost, playing both grandfather and grandson.

Filming began in October 2022, with a huge set built near Hyderabad, including a full-scale mansion. The climax was shot entirely on this set, and a song was recently filmed in Greece. The movie’s music is by Thaman S, with songs like Rebel Saab and Sahana Sahana.

The RajaSaab is scheduled to release worldwide on 9 January 2026, coinciding with Sankranti. It will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
