Mardaani 3 Trailer: Return of Rani to Fight Against Child Trafficking

The much-awaited Mardaani 3 trailer is finally out, and Rani Mukerji is back in her iconic role as the fierce cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. The third instalment of Yash Raj Films’ hit franchise promises intense action, emotional intensity, and a hard-hitting social message.

Mardaani 3 is set to release in theatres on January 30, 2026. In the trailer, Shivani joins the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to investigate a kidnapping case which soon spirals into a chilling revelation of a massive child trafficking racket operating across India.

The power-packed trailer contains the disturbing visuals and underlines the brutality of crimes, including a haunting hospital sequence where a rescued child coughs up blood. These moments set the tone for an intense cat-and-mouse chase between Shivani and the ruthless traffickers.

One of the standout moments sees Rani Mukerji delivering a powerful dialogue as she confronts Amma, vowing to show zero mercy. The trailer then shifts into action mode, showcasing Shivani racing against time to save multiple girls trapped in the horrifying network.

Sharing the trailer on social media, Yash Raj Films wrote, “It is a race against time & there will be no mercy. Shivani Shivaji Roy is back to rescue girls who go missing without a trace.” Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and written by Aayush Gupta, Mardaani 3 also stars Janaki Bodiwala in a key role. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film continues the franchise’s tradition of spotlighting dark realities of society through a gripping action-thriller lens.

After tackling human trafficking in Mardaani and the disturbing mind of a serial offender in Mardaani 2, the latest chapter dives into the world of organised child exploitation, promising a bold and impactful cinematic experience. Mardaani 3 releases worldwide in cinemas on January 30, 2026.
