Detective Sherdil Trailer: Diljit’s Desi Knives Out Moment!

The trailer of Detective Sherdil starring Diljit Dosanjh is out, and fans are loving it! Directed by Ravi Chhabriya, this Zee5 thriller shows Diljit in a totally new role—as a quirky, sharp detective. It’s a fun mix of mystery, comedy, and drama, with lots of unexpected twists. The film will release on 20 June on Zee5.

What’s the story?

Set in Budapest, the movie follows the mysterious murder of billionaire Pankaj Bhatti (played by Boman Irani). What looks like a hate crime turns into a complicated web of secrets, lies, and betrayal. Diljit teams up with Natasha (Diana Penty), a calm and smart investigator, to solve the mystery.

Fans are loving Diljit’s Sherlock Holmes-style look and witty dialogues. Actor Vicky Kaushal also gave a big thumbs up by sharing the trailer on Instagram and calling it “Mazedaar”.

The movie also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, Sumeet Vyas, and Banita Sandhu. With fun moments, suspense, and dark humour, Detective Sherdil is set to be a must-watch!
