Aap Jaisa Koi, now streaming on Netflix, brings a fresh idea — a love story between two people in their 40s and 50s. In a world full of young romance, this is a rare and welcome change. But sadly, that’s the only thing the film gets right.
Story in Short
R Madhavan plays Shrirenu, a shy, middle-aged Sanskrit professor who has never been in a relationship. At his friend’s suggestion, he joins a sex chat app. Around the same time, he meets Madhu (Fatima Sana Shaikh), a French professor. They fall in love, but when he learns something about her past, things start to fall apart.
