‘Homebound’ And ‘Stree 2’ Lead IFFM 2025 Nominations

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) has announced its list of nominations for 2025. Neeraj Ghaywan’s emotional film Homebound and the horror-comedy Stree 2 are leading the list of nominees this year. The festival will take place from August 14 to August 24 in Melbourne, Australia. The IFFM Awards Night, where winners will be revealed, is on August 15.

The IFFM celebrates the best of Indian films and web series. Homebound, which had its world premiere at Cannes, is nominated in the Best Film category along with Kalki 2898 AD, L2: Empuraan, Maharaj, Meiyazhagan, Superboys of Malegaon, and Stree 2.

The Best Indie Film category includes Humans in the Loop, Feminichi Fathima, Baksho Bondi, Angammal, Boong, Village Rockstars 2, and We are Faheem and Karun.

In the Best Actor category for films, nominees include:

Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa for Homebound
Junaid Khan for Maharaj
Abhishek Bachchan for I Want to Talk
Mohanlal for L2: Empuraan
Manoj Bajpayee, Adarsh Gourav, and Gugun Kipgen
