Hina Khan On Mrunal Thakur’s Apology: ‘Let’s End This Circus’

The internet can often dig up things from the past, and that’s exactly what happened with an old interview of Mrunal Thakur. In the video, Mrunal was seen making fun of Bipasha Basu for having “muscles.” The clip recently went viral and received backlash.

Mrunal posted an apology on Instagram, saying, “When I was 19, I said many silly things without realising the impact. My words hurt, and I am truly sorry.” Bipasha hasn’t responded yet, but TV actor Hina Khan has stepped in to support both stars.

Hina reshared Mrunal’s post and wrote that everyone makes mistakes, especially when they are young. She said she relates to Mrunal, as she too has made silly mistakes in the past. Hina praised both Bipasha and Mrunal, calling them inspiring women, and added that Bipasha’s “muscles” have motivated many women, including herself and Mrunal. She ended her message saying, “Now can we please end this circus… let’s spread love and be kind.”

However, some people online trolled Hina, accusing her of getting involved in a controversy that didn’t concern her.
