Vidyut Jammwal Says Bollywood Wasted His Talent

Actor Vidyut Jammwal is on a career high after the success of his Tamil film Madharaasi. The action thriller, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead and Vidyut as the villain, marks his strong comeback to South Indian cinema. The film has been a big hit, collecting ₹44 crore in just five days.

Adding to his success, Vidyut has now bagged a role in Hollywood’s live-action adaptation of Street Fighter. He will be playing the iconic character Dhalsim, the yogi with fire-breathing powers, alongside stars like Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Roman Reigns, and 50 Cent.

While his career graph is climbing, fans are pointing out how Bollywood failed to use his full potential. One viral post showed Vidyut’s look from Madharaasi with the caption: “Bollywood failed to use this man’s potential.” Another fan said Indian cinema keeps making “mid movies” instead of recognizing true talent.

Interestingly, Vidyut himself reshared these fan posts on Instagram, agreeing with the criticism. At the same time, he also shared appreciation from international fans who praised his look in Street Fighter.

With South success and Hollywood debut on the way, Vidyut Jammwal seems to be finally getting the recognition his fans believe he always deserved.
