Ek Tha Tiger Re-Releasing In Theatres

Actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger will soon return to theatres. The film, which released 13 years ago, was a massive hit and became one of the biggest blockbusters of its time. The re-release date has not been announced yet.

In the film, Salman and Katrina played spies. The story followed Tiger, an Indian intelligence agent, sent to Dublin to keep an eye on a professor suspected of sharing nuclear secrets. During his mission, Tiger falls in love with Zoya, the professor’s caretaker, who hides a big secret of her own.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, the movie was the first in the YRF Spy Universe. It also starred Ranvir Shorey, Roshan Seth, Girish Karnad, and Gavie Chahal. At the box office, the film earned around ₹320 crore worldwide, making it one of the top earners of 2012.

Ek Tha Tiger was also Salman’s first film with Yash Raj Films and Kabir Khan’s third directorial project with the studio.
