Priya Sachdev Hits Out At Karisma Kapoor

A bitter fight has erupted between Sunjay Kapur’s widow Priya Sachdev and his ex-wife, actor Karisma Kapoor, over the businessman’s ₹30,000 crore estate. The dispute is now in the Delhi High Court.

Priya attacked Karisma in court, saying that Sunjay had left Karisma many years ago. She emphasized that she is Sunjay’s legal wife since their marriage in 2017. Karisma was married to Sunjay from 2003 to 2016, and they have two children, Samaira (20) and Kiaan (15).

The feud escalated after Karisma’s children accused Priya of altering Sunjay’s will to exclude them from the inheritance. Priya’s lawyer, Rajiv Nayyar, said Karisma had been absent from Sunjay’s life for 15 years and only appeared after his death.

The court has now asked Priya to submit a list of all Sunjay Kapur’s movable and immovable assets. The next hearing is scheduled for October 9.

Sunjay Kapur, chairman and founder of Sona Comstar, passed away in June in London from a heart attack. His estate is reportedly worth ₹30,000 crore.
