Season 1 ended with Horace (Ricco Ross) proposing to Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams). But soon after, he revealed his poor health and made Kimmie his heir to the Bellarie empire. Their marriage caused jealousy, tension, and a fight for control in the family.

What to Expect in Part 2

Tyler Perry, the creator and director, teased that fans should “expect the unexpected.” Kimmie is now COO of Bellarie, but Horace’s family is determined to remove her. His children, brother, and ex-wife are plotting against her. Meanwhile, Mallory (Crystle Stewart), the former head of Beauty in Black, isn’t giving up her power easily.

According to Stewart, Mallory’s charm won’t last long once she sees Kimmie won’t back down. Williams also shared that Kimmie’s confidence and strength are finally shining, making her rise even more exciting to watch.
