Fans of The Boys can get excited—its spin-off Gen V Season 2 is officially arriving this September on Prime Video. The first three episodes will release together, and then new episodes will drop weekly until the finale in October.
Season 2 continues right after the bloody events at Godolkin University. Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Jordan (London Thor/Derek Luh), Emma (Lizzie Broadway), and Andre (Chance Perdomo) were betrayed by Cate (Maddie Phillips) and Sam (Asa Germann). The young supes were locked in a harsh rehab center before being allowed back on campus.
But things are much darker now. Homelander (Antony Starr) is rising in power, and President Calhoun is backing his army of supes. At the university, students face strict rules, and even humans must wear ID badges.
The main cast returns with Sinclair as Marie, Broadway as Emma, Phillips as Cate, Germann as Sam, Thor and Luh as Jordan, and Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity. The season will also connect directly to the events of The Boys Season 4.
According to showrunner Michele Fazekas, fans can expect themes of resistance, broken friendships, and the fallout from The Boys’ story.
