Apple TV+ has finally made its way to India in a bigger way! The streaming platform, known for hit shows like Ted Lasso and Severance, was one of the last global services to expand in the country.
Starting April 2, Apple TV+ is now available in India as an add-on subscription through Amazon Prime Video. Users can subscribe for just ₹99 per month, but this is separate from the regular Amazon Prime subscription.
Amazon has used this model before to bring other streaming platforms like Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, and BBC Player to India. Now, with Apple TV+ joining the list, viewers will have even more top-quality content in one place.
Kelly Day, Vice President of International at Prime Video, said, “We’re excited to bring Apple TV+ to Prime Video customers in India, offering them an even wider selection of shows and movies.”
With this new option, Indian audiences can easily access Apple TV+ content without needing a separate app or subscription process.
