Prime Video has confirmed the global OTT release of Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, this action-drama is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The movie first hit theatres on January 24. Now, it will stream on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries from March 21.

The film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur in important roles. According to Sacnilk.com, Sky Force earned ₹112.75 crore nett in India after four weeks at the box office.

Storyline

Based on real events, Sky Force tells the story of one of India’s first and deadliest airstrikes on Pakistan. It focuses on the 1965 attack on the Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pakistani war. The film shows the journey of a missing hero and his friend’s search for the truth.

What Akshay Kumar Said

Akshay said, “Sky Force is very special to me. It’s not just about action; it’s about emotions, love for the country, and friendships. Playing an Air Force pilot was an honour. I’m excited that people can now watch it on Prime Video.”

Sky Force Review

Hindustan Times said, “The climax is powerful, thanks to Akshay Kumar, who proves again that he is more than just a ‘khiladi’. Veer Pahariya gives a confident debut but needs more experience. Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur have limited roles, with Nimrat making a special appearance.”
