A scary incident happened on the sets of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar in Leh. On August 17, more than 100 crew members were rushed to Sajal Narbu Memorial Hospital after suffering from food poisoning. They complained of stomach pain, vomiting, and headaches.
At first, people thought the food on set was of poor quality because of cost-cutting. But a source close to the production clarified that this wasn’t true. Local authorities confirmed that there was a larger issue of chicken contamination in the region, which affected many.
The source added, “This is one of the biggest films right now. Why would we cut costs? Health and safety have always been our top priority.”
To avoid further issues, the production team has introduced stricter checks on food suppliers. Filming has now resumed in Leh.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film is set to release in theatres on December 5, 2025.
