Actor Aishwarya Rai took a powerful stand against street harassment in a new video shared on Instagram. As part of L’Oréal Paris’ campaign, she delivered an empowering message on how to deal with harassment.
In the video, Aishwarya said, “Hold your head high. Feminine and feminist. My body, my worth. Street harassment is never your fault.” She urged women to face the problem boldly and not blame themselves for harassment.
She captioned the video, “On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, join @lorealparis’s Stand Up Against Street Harassment training program. We’re all worth it.”
Fans flooded the post with love, calling her an “inspiration” and a “queen.” One comment read, “Thank you for fighting for a cause that matters so much.”
Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film earned her a Best Actress Critics award at SIIMA 2024 in Dubai. She is yet to announce her next project.
