Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited action film Baaghi 4 released in theatres on September 5 with big expectations, as the earlier parts of the franchise were successful. But this time, the response has been mixed and the collections are not as strong as expected.
The Sajid Nadiadwala production opened with ₹12 crore on Friday. On Saturday, the numbers dipped to ₹9.25 crore. Sunday showed slight improvement with ₹10 crore, taking the total three-day collection to ₹31.25 crore (till 10 PM). Despite this, the film did not see any real growth over the weekend.
The Hindi occupancy on Sunday was around 24.84%. Morning shows were quite low with just 8.75%, afternoon shows picked up to 28.81%, and evening shows saw some momentum at 36.95%.
Baaghi 4 is facing tough competition from the Hollywood horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites. The film is running strong at the Indian box office, earning ₹15.5 crore on Sunday alone, and has already collected ₹50.50 crore in three days.
The film stars Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sonam Bajwa. It also introduces former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu in her acting debut. Directed under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, this is the fourth film in the Baaghi franchise, after Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and Baaghi 3 (2020)
