Bill Gates is officially stepping into Indian television! The Microsoft co-founder and global philanthropist will make a guest appearance on Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, marking his first-ever appearance on an Indian TV series.
In the promo released by the makers, Gates appears on a video call with Smriti Irani’s iconic character, Tulsi. He greets her with a polite “Jai Shri Krishna,” to which Tulsi replies warmly, “It’s wonderful to see you connecting with my family all the way from America. We are eagerly waiting for you.”
The promo hints at a deeper message promoting health and awareness. It reads, “This time, a new bond is being formed — one of health, compassion, and change.
Fans are thrilled about this surprising crossover. One fan commented, “Now that’s a power move! Nobody saw this coming.” Another wrote, “Crossover of the year!”
Smriti Irani called it a “historic moment” in Indian television. In an interview, she said, “Bringing together one of the world’s most respected voices and one of India’s biggest storytellers is not just collaboration — it’s a movement.
