Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who was once the National Icon of the Election Commission of India, still strongly believes in the power of voting. With Delhi elections happening today (February 5), he urges everyone to step out and vote, not just treat it as a holiday to chill.

“Voting is the biggest right in democracy. It’s our moral responsibility to use it and bring change,” says the 48-year-old actor. He also highlights the importance of young voters who have turned 18 this year, encouraging them to be part of the electoral process.

Tripathi recalls meeting co-stars who had never voted and told them, “This is nothing to be proud of! Vote for whoever you want, but do vote.” He always takes a day off for elections and hopes voter turnout increases.
