Composer-singer Mithoon is celebrating the global success of his song Dhun from Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara. Sung by Arijit Singh, the track has entered the Spotify Global Top 100 at #97. It has already crossed 50 million streams and is also in the Spotify Viral Global 50.
This is the second song from the ₹541 crore-grossing film to achieve such success. Mithoon called it an “extraordinary journey” and said it’s not just about personal achievement but about Indian music getting recognition worldwide.
The song brings together the winning team of Mithoon, Arijit Singh, and Mohit Suri, who have previously given hits like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Malang. Arijit said working with them again felt like “coming home creatively,” while Mohit Suri praised the power of music and storytelling in Saiyaara.
