Actor Harshvardhan Rane recently surprised fans by appearing at a theatre screening of Sanam Teri Kasam. His visit was met with loud cheers and excitement from the audience. However, social media users compared this to Veer Pahariya’s theatre visit during the Sky Force promotions, which lacked the same energy.
A post on Reddit titled “What Veer Pahariya thought would happen at the theatres” started a discussion. One user wrote, “Now this is what true love for a movie looks like! Bollywood needs this craze back!” Another commented, “Veer’s theatre visit was awkward. No one cared, and only two people stood up.”
Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release Success
Originally released in 2016, Sanam Teri Kasam was a romantic drama starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane. It didn’t do well at the box office back then, earning only ₹9.1 crore against a budget of ₹14 crore. However, its re-release on February 7 turned things around. Within two days, it surpassed its original collection, earning ₹9.50 crore in India. It even performed better than new films like Loveyapa and Badass Ravikumar.
Speaking about this second chance, Harshvardhan said, “It feels like a dream come true. This reminds me of Shah Rukh Khan’s famous dialogue—‘If it’s not a happy ending, then it’s not the end. The movie is still on!’”
