Kajol Calls Ramoji Haunted, Hyderabadis Disagree!

While promoting her new horror movie Maa, actress Kajol said she feels Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad is “haunted.” This statement quickly created a buzz online, with many Hyderabadis disagreeing and calling it a “silly belief.”

In an interview, Kajol shared that she has often felt strange and uncomfortable vibes while shooting at certain places. She said, “Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad is a prime example of a haunted place.” She also added she’s never actually seen a ghost, but just felt something weird.

😤 Hyderabadis Hit Back:

Many people from Hyderabad and fans online didn’t like what Kajol said. Some social media users joked about it, while others felt she was just promoting her film by saying “anything.” One user said, “If it were really haunted, lakhs of people wouldn’t visit it every year.”

People also pointed out that many big movies like RRR, Pushpa, Bahubali, Pathaan, and more were filmed there, and it’s a proud part of the Telugu film industry.

Some supported Kajol, saying other stars like Taapsee Pannu and Rashi Khanna also had spooky experiences at Ramoji Film City. One fan even shared that director Ravi Babu stayed in the studio’s Sitara Hotel during a shoot and got so scared by an incident that he left the hotel and later made a movie based on it!

Despite the haunted talk, Ramoji Film City remains one of the biggest film studios in the world, with 47 sound stages and a Guinness World Record to its name.

Kajol’s movie Maa releases in theatres on June 27.
