Kangana Ranaut On Money: ‘I Prefer Being A Fool’

Actor Kangana Ranaut recently shared her thoughts on life, money, and her new restaurant in Manali, The Mountain Story. In an interview with Brut India, she revealed that she prefers to stay engaged with people rather than invest in stocks or earn rental income.

Kangana’s Views on Money

Kangana said, “I’m not one of those who buy stocks or have rental income. I don’t like that. I feel that I want to engage with more and more people. My life’s rules are quite stupid, and I like staying that way.”

She explained that her restaurant is not just a business but also a form of self-expression. Besides acting, writing, and filmmaking, she sees this venture as a way to connect with people.

Her Dream of Owning a Café

Kangana had expressed her wish to open a café years ago. In a 2013 interview, she said, “I have eaten all over the world and collected amazing recipes. I’d love to open a small, beautiful cafeteria.”

Actor Deepika Padukone, who was in the same interview, responded, “I’ll be your first client.” Recently, Kangana shared this old clip on Instagram and tagged Deepika, saying, “If walking the talk had a face, it would be me! Also, @deepikapadukone, you should be my first client.”

Kangana’s Latest Film

Kangana was last seen in Emergency, where she played former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film, released on January 17, explored the events during the Emergency period (1975-1977). It also featured Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik.
