Karan Johar is known for his love of romantic films. He has not only directed some iconic love stories but also supported many through his production house and social media. The latest movie to get his praise is Loveyapa, a romantic comedy directed by Advait Chandan. The film stars Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor in lead roles.
On Monday, Karan took to Instagram and shared a poster of Loveyapa, where Junaid and Khushi are seen making Korean heart symbols while wearing shiny grey jackets. In his caption, Karan wrote, “Drum roll for 2025’s first love story success story… Loveyapa speaks to the tech and app-obsessed Gen Z with a fun love story that is entertaining and makes strong points with precision. It’s truly a great time at the movies! You will love all the characters and root for the magical and endearing leads, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.”
He also praised director Advait Chandan for bringing energy, humor, emotions, and strong storytelling to the film. Karan called it “the best popcorn ride” he has had at the movies in a while and congratulated producers Madhu Mantena and Shrishti Behl, along with the entire team.
