Malaika Arora, who tragically lost her father, Anil Mehta, in September, opened up about how returning to work helped her manage her mental health. Anil’s death, ruled as suicide, deeply affected Malaika and her family. However, she resumed her professional commitments less than a month later.
In her statement, Malaika shared, “We all need to keep moving forward… that’s what my father would have wanted for me. Work helps me stay focused, balance my mental health, and take care of my family.”
While the investigation into Anil’s death continues, Malaika has requested privacy for her family. Despite the loss, she’s back to work with renewed energy. Alongside her brand projects, she is also set to judge India’s Best Dancer and invest in a startup series. She revealed, “I’m working on something special—an ode to my father.”
