The Telugu action film They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, hit theaters on September 25, 2025, and made a massive start. Fans welcomed Pawan Kalyan back in a gangster role after a long time. The movie is directed by Sujeeth, a huge fan of Pawan himself. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi also made his Telugu debut with this film.
On its first day, They Call Him OG earned about Rs 63.75 crore. The second day saw a collection of Rs 19.25 crore, taking its two-day total to Rs 84.75 crore in India. With Rs 21 crore earned even before release, the worldwide earnings crossed Rs 104 crore in just three days.
On the third day, the film’s earnings dropped a bit. It collected around Rs 18.50 crore, bringing the total domestic collection to Rs 122 crore in three days. However, the release of Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 could affect its box office run.
The Telugu version brought in most of the money. On Saturday, it had about 42% average occupancy, with evening shows performing the best. In Tamil Nadu, it managed around 15% occupancy, while in Hindi regions it was quite low at only 8%.
Even with a dip, the hype around They Call Him OG is still strong. Thanks to Pawan Kalyan’s huge fan base, Sujeeth’s direction, and the star cast, the movie is expected to stay steady at the box office.
