Actor Preity Zinta recently visited the Mahakumbh Mela for the third time and shared her experience online. While she expressed her emotions about the visit, some people criticized her for using private jets and getting VIP treatment.
During an Ask Me Anything session on X (formerly Twitter), a user asked Preity why her Kumbh photos triggered so much negativity. She replied, “People who try to pull you down are already below you, so who cares? Real courage is making a positive change around you and making the world better.”
When asked how she reacts to negative posts, Preity said she stays away from social media when with her kids, focusing on being a present mom. She added that she avoids reacting to every issue but stands up against fake news.
Preity shared that this was her third visit to the Kumbh Mela and called it magical, heartwarming, and a bit sad. She went with her mother, which meant a lot to her. She reflected on the meaning of life and attachment, realizing that the spiritual journey is ultimately a solo one.
Some people criticized her for showing off her luxurious lifestyle, including private jets and VIP access. They argued that others don’t have the same privileges.
