Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is one of the most awaited movies. But the film will not release on Eid 2026 as planned. According to reports, the makers are delaying the release to avoid a box office clash with Yash’s big film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups.
Reports say Love & War is also behind schedule. Around 75 days of shooting is still left. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has asked Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky to give more dates until summer 2026. The movie is running almost 40 days late, so now the earliest release might be in the second half of 2026. The team will soon make an official announcement.
Toxic, starring Yash, will release on March 19 next year. It was earlier planned for December, but shooting delays pushed the date forward. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. It is a gangster drama set in a past era in Goa, where a dangerous drug cartel controls everything. The film is being shot in Kannada and English and will release in multiple languages.
Fans of both movies are excited, and now they won’t have to choose between two massive films during Eid season.
