“Salman Khan Reacts To A.R. Murugadoss’ Film Madharaasi”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently made headlines after taking a cheeky dig at filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss, following the failure of their film Sikandar. The movie, which starred Salman and Rashmika Mandanna together for the first time, didn’t perform well at the box office despite its strong story and star power.

After the film’s failure, Murugadoss claimed that working with Salman was tough because the actor often arrived on set late, sometimes around 8 p.m., which delayed shooting. However, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman responded in his own witty way.

When asked if he regretted doing Sikandar, Salman said, “People say Sikandar, but I don’t agree. It had a great plot. Yes, I used to arrive late because of injuries, but our director also has a film that just released—where the actor arrived at 6 p.m.”

He then added sarcastically, “Murugadoss’s new film Madharaasi is a very big movie… even bigger than Sikandar. And it’s a blockbuster, blockbuster,” leaving everyone amused.

Madharaasi, a Tamil action thriller starring Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, and others, released on September 5. While it earned around ₹100 crore worldwide, it was still called an underperformer by trade experts.
