Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati pandal in Mumbai on September 2 to seek blessings. A video from her visit went viral, showing her refusing a selfie request from a female police officer.
In the clip, Shilpa was walking toward the idol when a lady cop tapped her on the shoulder and asked for a photo. Shilpa turned around, gestured with her finger, and said no. Her bodyguards were also heard saying, “Madam, yeh mat karo.”
Shilpa and her family are known for celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi every year. But this time, they skipped bringing Ganpati home due to a family loss. Still, Shilpa made sure to visit the pandal for blessings.
Recently, Shilpa announced the closure of her popular Mumbai restaurant Bastian Bandra, once a favorite celebrity spot. She and her husband, Raj Kundra, are also facing a ₹60 crore fraud case, which their lawyer has denied.
Currently, Shilpa is a judge on Super Dancer Season 5. Her last film was Sukhee, and she will soon be seen in the Kannada film KD: The Devil after 18 years.
