The song Raanjhan from Kriti Sanon’s film Do Patti is in the news again—but this time for a controversy. International music producer KMKZ has accused T-Series and composer duo Sachet-Parampara of using his beats without giving him credit. He is now asking for recognition and a plaque.
KMKZ shared on Instagram that he produced the beat two years ago and sells beats online. Recently, someone noticed that the piano in Raanjhan matched his beat, but he was not credited.
He said, “I produced the number one song in India and I didn’t even know about it.” After hearing the song, he found it shocked him because it has 290 million streams on Spotify and he got no response from T-Series despite emailing them.
Raanjhan is part of the OTT film Do Patti, starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol.
