Uorfi Javed Supports Samay Raina: ‘Jail Isn’t fair’

India’s Got Latent is facing backlash after a complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina for alleged ‘abusive language’ on the show. Ranveer later apologized and requested the removal of the offensive parts.

Amid the controversy, Uorfi Javed defended Samay, calling the remarks ‘distasteful’ but saying jail time was unnecessary. She shared on Instagram, “Samay is a friend, and I have his back. What they said was inappropriate, but jail? Really?”

Interestingly, Uorfi had earlier walked out of the show due to offensive remarks but clarified that Samay had supported her. Meanwhile, AICWA is demanding action against Ranveer and Samay, and political figures have weighed in, fueling the debate on free speech.
