Punjabi actor and bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman passed away on Thursday at the age of 42 due to a heart attack. Just a day before, he had posted a condolence message on Instagram for singer Rajvir Jawanda, who died on Wednesday following a tragic bike accident.
In his last Instagram post, Varinder shared Rajvir’s photo and wrote in Punjabi, “RIP Brother ❤️. This is a big loss to Punjab and the Punjabi music industry. May Waheguru bless the family.” Fans were shocked by Varinder’s sudden death and expressed grief online. One fan wrote, “Life is so unpredictable, yesterday he posted about Rajvir and today he’s gone… Om Shanti.” Others said, “Little did he know,” and “This is tragic and sad.”
Varinder had gone to a private hospital in Amritsar for shoulder pain, but suffered a heart attack in the evening. He worked in films like Tiger-3 (2023) with Salman Khan, Roar: Tigers of Sundarbans (2014), Marjaavan (2019), and the Punjabi movie Kabaddi Once Again (2012).
