Vikrant Massey Replaces Kartik Aaryan In Dostana 2

Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 has been one of the most talked-about Bollywood projects over the past six years. Fans have often wondered if the film would happen or get shelved. The project was first announced in 2019 with Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Lakshya in lead roles. Later, Kartik was replaced, and the film’s status remained unclear.

Now, National Award winner Vikrant Massey has confirmed that he is replacing Kartik Aaryan and will star in Dostana 2, his first film with Dharma Productions. Lakshya is still part of the movie, but Vikrant did not reveal who the female lead will be. He said it’s better for Karan Johar to make that announcement.

Vikrant shared that his character will have a new stylish look, with designer clothes, fancy sunglasses, and scenes shot in Europe, unlike his previous grounded roles.

Dostana 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2008 hit Dostana, which starred Priyanka Chopra Jonas, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan. The original was loved for its comedy, romance, and heartwarming story. Fans are excited to see if the sequel can live up to the expectations.
