Assam is paying a special tribute to legendary singer and actor Zubeen Garg, who passed away on September 19. From October 31, his final film Roi Roi Binale will be the only movie shown in theatres across the state. All other films, including Thamma, Kantara, Demon Slayer, and even Baahubali: The Epic, will be stopped temporarily.
This decision shows the deep love and respect Assam has for Zubeen. Reports say tickets are selling fast, with shows starting as early as 6:00 am in Guwahati and even earlier in Tezpur. Many shows for the weekend are already almost sold out.
