Actor Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut in Tadap (2021), is now preparing for some big projects, including the much-awaited Border 2. In a recent interview, he spoke openly about nepotism, pressure, and living up to his father Suniel Shetty’s legacy.
Ahan admitted that being the son of a famous actor gives him opportunities, but it also comes with higher expectations.
He said, “I’ll never deny where I come from. Being my father’s son gives me access, but it also means every stumble is magnified. I try to use that as motivation to work harder and prove I’m not here only because of my last name.”
He also shared how his father’s reputation sometimes feels heavy, but instead of treating it as a burden, he takes it as guidance. “I’ve learned from his journey and use it as inspiration rather than pressure,” Ahan added.
