“Critics Choice 2025: Diljit Beats Abhishek For Best Actor”

The Film Critics Guild has announced the winners of the Critics’ Choice Awards 2025, celebrating the best in movies, web series, and short films.

Feature Films

• Best Feature Film – All We Imagine As Light
• Best Actor – Diljit Dosanjh for Amar Singh Chamkila
• Best Actress – Darshana Rajendran for Paradise
• Best Supporting Actor – Ravi Kishan for Laapataa Ladies
• Best Supporting Actress – Kani Kusruti for Girls Will Be Girls

Diljit Dosanjh, who won Best Actor for Amar Singh Chamkila, dedicated the award to Amar Singh Chamkila and director Imtiaz Ali. He thanked the team, saying, “This is Imtiaz sir’s hard work, and I am grateful to be part of it.”

Web Series

• Best Web Series – Poacher
• Best Actor – Barun Sobti for Raat Jawaan Hai
• Best Actress – Nimisha Sajayan for Poacher

Short Films

• Best Short Film – Obur
• Best Actor – Harish Khanna for Jal Tu Jalaal Tu
• Best Actress – Jyoti Dogra for Taak (Tracker)

New Category – Best Documentary

A new category was introduced this year for Best Documentary. The award went to Nocturnes for its powerful storytelling.
