In May, reports suggested that Diljit Dosanjh had quit No Entry 2 due to creative differences. But producer Boney Kapoor clarified that the problem was actually about dates. Now, in a new interview, Boney has confirmed Diljit’s exit from the film.
No Entry 2 was planned to start filming in October 2025 with a new cast—Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. However, Diljit had to leave as his dates did not match the film’s schedule. Boney said, “We have parted in good spirits. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.”
Diljit is currently busy with his music career. He recently announced his Aura Tour 2025 across Australia and New Zealand, starting October 26 in Sydney and ending November 13 in Auckland.
Boney also shared that not bringing back the original trio—Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan—is a big loss. He said they waited for years but things didn’t work out. “We will miss Salman, Anil, and Fardeen. They were the heart of No Entry.”
The first No Entry (2005) directed by Anees Bazmee became one of the biggest hits of its time. The sequel now has a fresh cast led by Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, with details awaited.
Meanwhile, Diljit also has Border 2 lined up with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty, releasing on January 22, 2026.
