Farah Khan Shares Why Actors Have Affairs On Set

Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan recently spoke about her short acting career and why she never enjoyed being in front of the camera. During her appearance on Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s chat show, “Two Much,” Farah opened up about her 2012 acting debut in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi and shared some funny behind-the-scenes stories.

Farah revealed that she accepted the film just out of boredom. She said, “I don’t know why I did it. I was free, and Boman (Irani) called me. Sanjay Bhansali came to my house and said he’d be on set every day. It was fun working with Boman.”

However, she quickly realised acting wasn’t for her. “I hated it! You just have to sit and wait,” she joked. Farah added with her trademark humour, “Now I know why people have affairs on set — it’s out of boredom!”

The topic turned into a fun discussion about whether older or younger people are better at hiding affairs. Twinkle Khanna, Farah Khan, and Ananya Panday agreed that older people are better because of “practice,” while Kajol disagreed, saying younger people are more secretive. Ananya added that in today’s social media world, “everything comes out anyway.”
