Bollywood star and MP Kangana Ranaut has made a strong mark in films and now in politics. Since June 2024, she has been serving as a Member of Parliament (MP) from Mandi for the BJP. This year, she returned to films with Emergency, where she played former PM Indira Gandhi.
But when asked if she dreams of becoming the Prime Minister in real life, Kangana clearly said, “No.”
In a recent interview with spiritual guru AiR (Atman in Ravi), Kangana said she’s still learning in politics but not really enjoying it. She shared that people come to her with local issues like broken roads and drains, which are state government matters. Some even asked her to fix them with her own money!
She added that she doesn’t have the interest or passion to become India’s PM. “I’ve lived a selfish life,” she said. “I want a big house, car, and diamonds. I don’t want a life of sacrifice or political power. I don’t have it in me.”
On the work front, Kangana will soon be seen in a psychological thriller with R. Madhavan, her Tanu Weds Manu co-star.
