Kriti Sanon, one of Bollywood’s successful outsiders, shared how hard it is for people without film connections to make it in the industry.
At a News18 event, Kriti said nothing comes easy for outsiders. “There are no shortcuts, no free lunches. You have to work hard and not give up. People will tell you why it’s impossible—why you’re too short, too tall, too thin—but you have to believe in yourself,” she said.
Kriti added that being passionate, patient, and improwith movies like Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, and Housefull 4. She won the National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 2022 for Mimi.
