Nora Fatehi is having a great time in her career. Her latest song Oh Mama! Tetema is winning hearts, and now she’s all set to enter Tamil cinema with Kanchana 4, the fourth film in the popular horror-comedy franchise.
Nora says, “When Kanchana 4 was offered, I immediately felt it was the right project to start my Tamil journey. The franchise already has a strong legacy, and the script was so unique. After Madgaon Express, I really wanted to do another comedy.”
Talking about challenges, she adds, “Language is always tough, but I love challenges. I’ve already worked in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films, and now it’s Tamil. It’s the hardest so far, but I spend extra time rehearsing and working on my pronunciation.”
She also feels grateful for the support from the crew. “They told me I was very natural in comic scenes, and that really motivates me. For me, it’s about respecting the culture, the language, and giving my best,” Nora shares.
When asked about the difference between South and Bollywood, she explains, “Every industry has its own style. Tamil cinema focuses a lot on storytelling and performance, while Bollywood has a larger-than-life energy. Both are passionate about cinema, and I feel lucky to learn from both.”
