Sunny Deol’s dialogue “dhai kilo ka haath” from the 1993 film Damini is one of the most iconic lines in Bollywood. But the actor recently admitted that, in the beginning, he actually found it irritating.
In an interview, Sunny said, “Wherever I went, people only asked me to repeat that dialogue. Of course, it’s a matter of pride, but after a point, I felt there’s so much more I can do as an actor beyond just this one line.”
The line, “Jab yeh dhai kilo ka haath kisi pe padta hai na, toh aadmi uthta nahin, uth jaata hai,” became legendary and is still remembered by fans. Sunny even repeated the dialogue in his recent film Jaat, though at first, he wasn’t too happy about it. Later, he understood why it was important for the scene and agreed.
