Actor Tamannaah Bhatia recently shared her thoughts on how Bollywood is changing its outlook toward women in their 30s. She said that age and experience are now being celebrated on screen, and female actors are finally getting more meaningful and layered roles.
In an interview with Filmfare, Tamannaah revealed that when she started her career, she had a “10-year plan.” She thought she would work through her 30s and then settle down. But as she grew older, she realised she was becoming more confident and getting better opportunities.
She said, “There are more roles being written for women in their 30s now. Earlier, such characters were rarely seen on screen. I don’t know why people fear ageing. Ageing is awesome—it’s a part of life.”
Tamannaah’s Upcoming Projects
Tamannaah will soon be seen with Shahid Kapoor in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’ Romeo, a gangster drama expected to release in late 2025 or early 2026.
Apart from these, Tamannaah is reportedly playing the wife of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe film.
