Triptii Dimri’s Coach: Wrong Choices Teach

Triptii Dimri started her acting career on a high. After small roles in Mom and Poster Boys, she impressed critics with Laila Majnu, Bulbbul, and Qala. In 2023, Animal made her a household name.

But the last year was mixed for her. Out of three releases, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was a blockbuster, and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video also did well. Still, many felt her films didn’t use her full talent. In 2025, she made a strong comeback with Dhadak 2, winning praise for her acting again.

Her acting coach and co-star, Saurabh Sachdeva, spoke about her journey. He believes Triptii never lost her skill—it was just about picking the right projects. “Even great actors can have films that don’t work,” he said. “Sometimes the choice of the subject is wrong, but the talent is still there.”

Saurabh, who has been an acting teacher for 20 years, said he feels proud when his students do well. “They all have their own unique style. People like Raghav Juyal, Richa Chadha, and Triptii are all different, and that’s what makes them special,” he shared.

Talking about criticism, Saurabh compared acting to cricket. “Even the best players get out on zero sometimes. But you know they’ll bounce back. Wrong choices happen, but they teach important lessons,” he added.
