First Look Of Ayushmann, Rashmika & Nawazuddin’s Thama Out

The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is back with its next film Thama, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. On Monday evening, the makers shared the first look posters of their characters.

Meet the Characters

• Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok, described as “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed” (the final hope for humanity). He appears in a dark jacket, looking intense.
• Rashmika Mandanna plays Tadaka, called “Roshni ki pehli kiran” (the first ray of light). She is seen in a vintage dress, giving a mysterious vibe.
• Nawazuddin Siddiqui is Yakshasan, the “Andhere ka badshah” (king of darkness). His long-haired, bat-like look hints at a vampire theme.
• Paresh Rawal plays Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, introduced as someone who “finds tragedy in comedy,” dressed in a sweater and polo T-shirt.

Connection to Stree?

Fans have already started spotting Easter eggs in the posters. Some pointed out a statue in the background linking it to Stree, while others noticed Nawazuddin’s shadow in Rashmika’s poster.

About the Film

The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe began with Stree in 2018, followed by Bhediya and Munjya. Now, Thama is all set to release this Diwali, with a special first glimpse coming on 19 August at 11:11 AM.
