Samay Raina’s Tour Sells 40K Tickets In 1 Hour!

Comedian Samay Raina is back with a new comedy tour in India called “Samay Raina Is Alive And Unfiltered.” This comes a few months after he got into trouble for his YouTube show India’s Got Latent. The show received a lot of criticism, but now Samay is ready to entertain fans again.

What Was the Controversy?

Samay and other YouTubers like Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Apoorva Mukhija were part of the show India’s Got Latent. A joke from one episode upset many people, and an FIR (police case) was filed against them for using inappropriate and adult language in a public video.

Samay’s Comeback Tour

Samay announced his India tour on Instagram. He said the tour will start on August 15 in Bengaluru, and he is super thankful to fans. Within just 1 hour, he sold 40,000 tickets, which is a big record!

Here are the tour dates:

  • Bengaluru – Aug 15 to 17
  • Hyderabad – Aug 23 to 24
  • Mumbai – Aug 30
  • Kolkata – Sept 6 to 7
  • Chennai – Sept 19 to 20
  • Pune – Sept 26 to 28
  • Delhi – Oct 3 to 5

Samay said on Instagram, “The love is unreal… it’s all because of my fans and my mother’s blessings.”

Earlier this year, Samay also did a world tour in Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. He said, “Tough times made for the best comedy.”
