Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor, who recently starred with Ibrahim Ali Khan in the teen rom-com Nadaaniyan, is ready for something new. After playing light and fun characters in films like The Archies and Loveyapa, Khushi now wants to explore darker roles.
In a chat with Grazia India, Khushi said, “I’ve always been curious about thrillers or horror movies. Maybe not full horror, but something darker than what I’ve done before.” She also shared that she enjoys doing emotional and dramatic scenes, and feels a thriller could give her that chance.
Khushi’s sister, Janhvi Kapoor, has already tried horror and thriller films, like Ghost Stories and Roohi. Now, fans are excited to see if Khushi will follow in her sister’s footsteps and take on a spooky or intense film next.
For now, fans are loving her performance in Nadaaniyan as Pia Jaisingh, a rich girl who hires Ibrahim’s character to be her boyfriend. But it looks like Khushi is ready to surprise us with something more serious soon!
