De De Pyaar De 2: A Romantic Comedy Sequel

Storyline
The sequel picks up from the first film, following Ashish Mehra, a 55-year-old investor, who is in a serious relationship with 31-year-old Ayesha. The couple now faces a new challenge: winning over Ayesha’s father. Hilarity ensues as Ashish tries to impress his would-be father-in-law.

Filming & Production
Filming began in June 2024 in Mumbai with additional shoots planned in Punjab and London. Anil Kapoor was originally cast but was replaced by R. Madhavan for the role of Ayesha’s father.

Release Date
The film is set to release on 1 May 2025, taking advantage of the International Labour Day long weekend.

Teaser
The teaser is expected to drop in early 2025, offering a glimpse of the comedic tensions between Ashish and Dev.
