“Housefull 5A Vs 5B: Why Two Versions & Which To Watch”

Akshay Kumar is back with the fun-filled comedy Housefull 5, which hit theatres on June 6. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, this film is one of Akshay’s biggest releases ever, showing on 5000 screens across India.

But here’s the twist—Housefull 5 has two different versions:

👉 Housefull 5B

What’s the Difference?

Both versions have the same story and are almost the same for the first 2 hours. But the last 20 minutes are completely different in each version.

The movie is about a murder on a cruise ship. A rich man is killed after announcing he’ll give his money to “Jolly.” The problem? There are three Jollys—played by Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan. Each Jolly and their girlfriends (played by Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri) are suspects.

In version 5A, one person is revealed as the killer. In version 5B, it’s someone else. This makes the experience fun and unique!

Which Version Should You Watch?

Both versions are getting good reactions. People say 5A has a clearer ending, while 5B is fun but feels a bit forced. The makers suggest you watch both versions for the full experience!

Why Two Endings?

The makers want to bring back the trend of people watching movies in theatres more than once. If you enjoy the film, you might want to go again to see the second ending!
